Shorewall 5.1.0 Beta 2 is now available for testing.

Problems Corrected since Beta 1:

3) An optimizer defect that could result in start/reload/restart
failures has been corrected.

4) Previously, when a list of zones appeared in a policy file entry,
intra-zone traffic was affected even if neither the SOURCE nor DEST
list ended in '+'. That has been corrected so that intra-zone
traffic is included only when a '+' is present.

5) The install.sh and uninstall.sh have had some minor cleanup (Matt
Darfeuille).

New Features since Beta 1:

1) The Shorewall6, Shorewall-lite and Shorewall6-lite packages now
create symbolic links to $SBINDIR/shorewall for backward
compatibility. There are also skeletal manpages for shorewall6,
shorewall-lite and shorewall6-lite that refer the reader to
shorewall(8).

2) When the compiler now finds an empty action file, it searches the
CONFIG_PATH for a file matching the name of the action. If one is
found, a fatal error is raised.

ERROR: File action.XXX is empty and file XXX exists - these
must be combined as described in the Shorewall release
notes.

3) The 'ip xfrm' command is now used to dump the IPSEC SPD and SAD
during 'shorewall dump' processing. As part of this change, empty
policies are no longer printed and IPv6 SAD entries are now
correctly listed.

Thank you for testing.
