I am planning an upgrade from Debian Jessie to Stretch.
Jessie has Shorewall 4.6.4.3, Stretch 5.0.15.6
The Shorewall 5 upgrade instructions say "It is strongly recommended
that you first upgrade your installation to a 4.6 release that supports
the -A option to the update command; 4.6.13.2 or later is preferred."
I cannot find 4.6.13.2 or later packaged for Debian. Can anyone suggest
a way ahead?
You can simply run 'shorewall update -A' after installing Stretch. YourJessie has Shorewall 4.6.4.3, Stretch 5.0.15.6

firewall may not work correctly until you do that update.
